Two Highly Wanted Terrorists Killed in Lakki Marwat Operation

PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Two highly wanted terrorists, Muhammad Sohail alias Ahmed and Azmatullah alias Hafiz, were killed in a joint operation in Sarai Naurang, Lakki Marwat, according to official sources.

The operation was carried out by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Bannu, and Lakki Marwat Police as the terrorists were planning for an activity.

The killed terrorists were nominated in attacks on police and security forces, target killings, and other heinous crimes, according to CTD.

Azmatullah was involved in the martyrdom of DSP Gul Muhammad, Constable Naseem Gul, and Lieutenant Arifullah while, Muhammad Sohail martyred Constable Mansoor Khan and one Hashim Khan in target killings, according to CTD. A Kalashnikov, 9mm pistol, mobile phones, and two cards of a banned organization were recovered from their possession

Azmatullah was also involved in the attack on Police Check Post Abbasa Khattak and the attack on a private bank van.

Lakki Marwat Police appreciated

IG Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has appreciated CTD Bannu and Lakki Marwat Police for the operation.
