BEIJING (Kashmir English): Xiaomi has launched its new high-end smartphones, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, with more advanced features.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun unveiled the devices and claimed that these phones are unique in battery life, display quality, and camera performance.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO display (1-120Hz) and a 2.7-inch back display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage.
The camera setup consists of three 50MP lenses, including a periscope telephoto lens with 5x zoom and macro caps.
The phone is equipped with a 6,300mAh battery that supports 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse charging.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display and a 2.9-inch back screen.
It has been launched with a 7,500mAh battery, which provides the same charging speeds.
It has a large telephoto sensor with an f/2.6 aperture to further improve zooming performance.

According to the company, the price of the Xiaomi 17 Pro starts from $700 and goes up to $840 (PKR 198,000-PKR 237,000), while the price of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is between $840 and $980 (PKR 237,000-PKR 276,000).
These phones are currently available in China and will soon be launched in the global market, where the prices will be a bit higher.
