MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Kashmir Police on Thursday warned the youth against participating in anti-state activities or falling prey to propaganda against the state, which can lead them into trouble.

In a public awareness message, the police spokesperson urged the young people to be mindful of their actions, as any involvement in negative or illegal activities can have long-term consequences on their future.

“Police department has digitized all police records, allowing for easy access to criminal profiles through modern security devices and mobile applications like EPP, SVAS/AVAS,” it added.

The department highlighted that as soon as a case is registered at any police station, the profile of every person involved in the incident becomes part of the central criminal record database.

The police emphasised that students involved in fights, negative activities, or illegal acts may face difficulties in obtaining character certificates, security clearances, or traveling abroad for education or employment.

It said that the individuals involved in criminal activities may be returned from airports despite having completed visa procedures.

“Cases against individuals can hinder their chances of securing government or private jobs. Involvement in criminal activities can ultimately ruin the future of young people,” the message stated.

The awareness message has urged parents and teachers to closely monitor and guide the young generation to prevent them from engaging in activities that could ruin their future.

“Students are advised to prove themselves as responsible citizens and avoid any negative or illegal activities that could darken their future,” it reads.
