KARACHI (Kashmir English): The National Savings Directorate conducted Draw No. 19 for the Rs25000 prize bond on September 10, 2025, today, at its Karachi office, with thousands of bondholders awaiting the results.
The transparent balloting process occurs in the presence of government officials and public observers. This savings scheme, operated under the State Bank of Pakistan, offers investors cash prizes instead of fixed returns.

25000 prize bond winners list – June 10
The National Savings Centre (NSC) announced the winners’ list of the #19 draw of the Rs 25000 prize bond held in Lahore on June 10, 2025.
The 1st prize of Rs 30,000,000 was won by prize bond numbers 235174 and 272160. The second prize, valued at Rs 10,000,000, was awarded to holders of these prize bond numbers: 278896, 418337, 464014, 722511, and 957742.
Tax Deduction on Prize Bonds
According to the government policy, the profit earned on the premium prize bonds, Rs25000 and Rs40000, are exempted from compulsory deduction of Zakat.
However, withholding tax on both the profit and prize money shall be applicable as per the prevailing rate notified by the federal government. Filers are subject to a 15 per cent withholding tax, while non-filers will pay 30 per cent of tax.
