MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The district administration has announced new prices for fresh fruits, vegetables, chicken, and other items in Muzaffarabad.
According to the notification issued by the Muzaffarabad administration, the price of boiler chicken is fixed at Rs 494, and the price of Breeder Chicken is Rs 590.
Whereas the golden chicken price is fixed at Rs 1050 and Rs 890.
According to the new rate list, shopkeepers have been instructed to display the updated prices clearly, with warnings of legal action in the event of non-compliance.
As per the new rates, Grade 1 potatoes will now be sold at Rs 80 per kg, while Grade 2 will cost Rs 60. Chinese garlic has been priced at Rs 310 per kg for Grade 1 and Rs 200 for Grade 2.
Red onions are set at Rs 90 (Grade 1) and Rs 50 (Grade 2). Cauliflower will be sold at Rs 150 for Grade 1 and Rs 120 for Grade 2, while French beans and bitter gourd are priced at Rs 260.
