LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has firmly dismissed reports suggesting the removal of Shan Masood and Mohammad Rizwan as captains for the Pakistan Test and ODI teams respectively.

In a post on X, a PCB spokesperson made it cleared that there is no proposal under consideration to remove Masood from Test captaincy, nor was there any plan to appoint Saud Shakeel as his replacement.

The board also contradicted reports about Rizwan being stripped of his ODI captaincy. The PCB clarified that Salman Ali Agha is not being considered as the new ODI captain.

It further confirmed that the selection committee has not even discussed any proposal regarding a change in captaincy.
