ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): An important meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party PPP Azad Kashmir parliamentary party was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Parliamentary Leader Sardar Yaqub Khan.
Leader PPP Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz specially attended the meeting, alongside President PPP Azad Kashmir and Member of Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, Speaker Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, and former Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan.
Member Central Executive Committee (CEC) Chaudhry Pervez Ashraf, Secretary General Raja Faisal Rathore, Minister of Government Mian Abdul Waheed, Minister of Government and Secretary Information Sardar Muhammad Javed Ayub, Ministers of Government Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi, Sardar Zia Al Qamar, Chaudhry Ali Shan Soni, Chaudhry Rafiq Nayyar, Sardar Ahmed Saghir and Javed Butt also attended the meeting.
The parliamentary party expressed full confidence in the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur and termed the decisions of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari as wise and in the national interest.
The meeting also paid tribute to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for successfully representing the position of Pakistan and Kashmir at the global level and receiving the Nishan-e-Imtiaz.
The participants reiterated their resolve that every conspiracy against Pakistan will be vigorously resisted and the PPP will always stand in the forefront in defending the integrity of the country.
It was also made clear in the meeting that Pakistan is the real center and axis of the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The party leadership also expressed full confidence in the enthusiastic leadership of Field Marshal General Asim Munir on this occasion.
At the end of the meeting, deep sorrow and grief were expressed over the loss of life and property due to the recent rains and floods.
