Pak Army organizes free medical and dental camp at Samahni, AJK

SAMAHNI (Kashmir English): A free medical and dental camp was organized at Government High School Abdullahpur, Samahni under the auspices of 3-Mountain Medical Battalion and 96 IMDU, in collaboration with 65 FF Regiment.

At the camp, 317 patients received free examination and treatment. Medical facilities were provided to men, women, and children by specialist doctors.

Facilities included dental treatment, minor surgery, ECG, laboratory tests, and patient guidance.

In addition to surgeries, 11 patients underwent ECGs, 23 had laboratory tests, and 40 had dental operations and tooth extractions at the camp.

As many as 72 patients were referred to FTC for further treatment, while free medicines and dental floss were distributed to patients.

Plantation drive by 3-Mountain Medical Battalion

Children received lectures on dental hygiene, awareness on preventing heatstroke, and a tree plantation drive was also conducted by the CO 3-Mountain Medical Battalion.

Locals appreciated the army and medical team, calling this initiative an excellent service for the area.
