JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): The Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Azad Kashmir, has formed a fact-finding committee to investigate serious allegations made against Tahir Bashir, Junior Clerk of Government Boys High School Jabar Jandali in Jhelum Valley district.

According to the details, the harassment allegations were made by a girl named Areeba on social media, prompting the department to take immediate notice and decide on a detailed investigation.

Yesterday, a video went viral in which Areeba said that the clerk Tahir Bashir tried to violate my honor by offering me marriage. “I told the headmaster and other staff everything, but no one did anything,” she said.

Earlier today, the case took a surprising turn when the girl’s father denied the allegation, stating that his daughter was forced to record the video against a clear, who is a noble and belongs to a respectable family.

He said that Tahir Bashir’s political rivals forced Areeba to record a video against the clear to defame him.

As the case went viral on social media, the education authorities formed a special committee to carefully examine all aspects of the matter and submit its report to the department.

The committee consists of Dur-e-Shahwar Naqvi, Deputy Director, Directorate General Elementary and Secondary Education (Females), Muzaffarabad, and Ahmed Hassan, Deputy Director, Directorate General Elementary and Secondary Education (Males), Muzaffarabad.

As per the order, the fact-finding committee is bound to submit its report within ten to seven days, ensuring a thorough and timely investigation.
