Man injured in mine explosion near LoC in Tatta Pani

TATTA PANI (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident, a man was injured due to a landmine explosion in the Sehra village of Tatta Pani, located on the ceasefire line.

As per the details, the incident occurred when a landmine washed away by floodwaters from the Poonch River exploded, seriously injuring a person.

The victim, identified as Adnan Ahmed from Gujrat, Punjab, was working as a laborer in the area.

Adnan Ahmed sustained severe injuries after stepping on the mine while tending to his livestock near the riverbank.

The person has been referred to the Kotli District Hospital for further care after initial medical aid.
