RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) was held under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), in which the recent national and international situation, security affairs and defense strategy were reviewed in detail, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The conference began with the recitation of Fateha to pay homage to the martyrs who were martyred in the recent terrorist attacks by Indian-sponsored proxies.

The forum, while reviewing the recent achievements of the security forces against the terrorist proxies, expressed its resolve that the blood of our martyrs will not go in vain.

The forum emphasized that the safety and security of the people of Pakistan is the top priority of the armed forces. On this occasion, the forum also made it clear that it is imperative to continue decisive and comprehensive operations against Indian-backed and sponsored proxies at all levels.

According to the ISPR, the conference highlighted that after the clear defeat in the Pahalgam incident, India is now trying to advance its nefarious agenda through the proxies of Fitna al-Kharij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, the Army Chief apprised the forum of Pakistan’s active diplomatic role during the recent successful visits of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The forum was also briefed on the Army Chief’s historic visit to the United States, during which Pakistan’s purposeful stance on bilateral, regional and international issues was directly presented to the high-level American leadership.

According to the ISPR, the forum reviewed in detail the internal and external security issues in the context of the recent developments in the Middle East and Iran, and expressed concern that the trend of adopting the use of force as a preferred policy tool in the world is increasing.

The forum said that this changing trend makes it imperative for Pakistan not only to increase its self-reliance capabilities but also to emphasize the importance of national unity and resolve.

The Army Chief termed India’s attempt to involve a third party in the bilateral military tension as a baseless attempt to promote India’s bloc politics.

He said that the aim of this nefarious attempt is to misrepresent India’s self-proclaimed role of a net security provider in the region.

He added that the world is now clearly becoming suspicious of India’s expansionist ambitions and the dangerous trends of Hindutva extremism.

The forum was also briefed on the strategy and ongoing innovative initiatives of the Pakistan Army in view of the changing nature of war and emerging threats. The Army Chief appreciated the leadership of the Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Air Force for strengthening tri-services coordination.

At the end of the conference, the Army Chief expressed full confidence in the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Army against all threats facing the country.
