Forward Bloc holds meeting of parliamentary party in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Members of the Parliamentary Party of the Forward Bloc have expressed their full confidence in the leadership of President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, and Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq.

Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq and members of the Forward Bloc attended the meeting at Aiwan-e-Saddar, Kashmir House in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the members reiterated that the Forward Bloc parliamentary party is united and decided to formulate a joint strategy for the upcoming elections.

The Forward Bloc strongly condemned the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and decided to intensify efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue at the global level. The party assured the people of occupied Kashmir that they stood by them in their struggle for freedom and would continue their struggle until the liberation of occupied Kashmir.

The meeting emphasized the importance of completing construction and development projects in Azad Kashmir quickly to make it a welfare state. The party stressed the need for public welfare and welfare projects to be prioritized.

The meeting was attended by various ministers and members of the Forward Bloc, including Minister for Population Welfare Sardar Muhammad Hussain, Minister for Communications Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, and Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai, among others.

Minister for Finance Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq, Minister for Health Nisar Ansar Abdali, and Minister for Tourism Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani, among others, attended the meeting.

Deputy Speaker Chaudhry Riaz Ahmed attended from Muzaffarabad, while Advisor on Zakat and Ushr Sabiha Siddique attended from London via video link. Presidential Advisor Sardar Imtiaz Khan and Presidential Advisor Chaudhry Mehboob Advocate also attended the meeting.
