RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): A ceremony was organized by Sudhan Education Conference to distribute scholarship cheques among 35 students of the University of Poonch Rawalakot. Vice Chancellor, University of Poonch, Prof. Dr. Zakaria Zakir, was the chief guest of the ceremony.
In his address, Dr. Zakaria Zakir appreciated the efforts of the Sudhan Education Conference in the field of education and thanked them for the financial assistance provided to the students. He highlighted Rawalakot’s active civil society, stable educational environment, and strong sense of civic responsibility among its residents.
Acting President of Sudhan Education Conference, Sardar Shahzeb Shabbir, presided over the ceremony. Registrar Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Chairman Scholarship Committee Prof. Dr. Rahim Khan, and Secretary SEC Dr. Ghulam Hussain were also present on the occasion. The event was moderated by Dr. Muhammad Faraz Khan, and Director SFA&UA UPR.
Dr. Zakaria Zakir welcomed any suggestions from the Rawalakot community. He stressed the importance of taking more such initiatives to advance education in Rawalakot and help the needy students.
