MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, the former Prime Minister (PM) of Azad Kashmir, has condemned Indian scholars praying for an Indian Army victory over Pakistan.
During his address at the inauguration ceremony of a religious seminary in the Salmia area of Tehsil Chakar, the Former Prime Minister stated that praying for the victory of the Indian army against Pakistan by Indian scholars is highly unacceptable.
Additionally, Raja Farooq Haider condemned Indian scholars for allegedly utilizing Islam for political purposes and compromising the interests of oppressed Muslims in India.
He stated that a Muslim can never support a non- Muslim based on faith against a fellow Muslim. – He emphasized the strength of Muslims in tough situations, stating that they did not waver in their independence.
Former PM further criticized the attitude of Pakistani scholars, claiming that there was an obvious failure in responding to the remarks made by Indian scholars.
