KARACHI (Kashmir English): Zain Hamid, ex-husband of actress Nimra Khan, has confirmed that he divorced the actress on July 17.
Without blaming anyone, Hamid said the decision followed personal differences and choices between them that could not be resolved.
He said a social media post reading “at peace finally, good riddance” was in response to social media posts and status updates which, he claimed, were made without any reason, to gain attention.
Hamid said he respected both men and women, adding that the two were not mutually exclusive.
He confirmed the dissolution had been filed and lawyers would take forward the legal process.

Wishing Nimra Khan the best, Hamid described the separation as amicable, adding that divorce was equally difficult for a man and a woman.
Khan is a Pakistani actress who made her acting debut with a brief role in comedy series Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga.
She is known for her leading role in several television serials including Meherbaan, Uraan, Khoob Seerat and Mein Jeena Chahti Hoon and Mujhe Khuda Pay Yaqeen Hai.
