CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): YouTube has added a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature that aims to improve substandard videos.
The feature called Super Resolution automatically improves the quality of substandard videos.
This feature uses AI technology to improve old videos or videos with low resolution.
This will eliminate the need for users to re-upload content.
In fact, it is one of YouTube’s latest AI tools that aims to make videos more transparent and improve the viewing experience.
According to a report, this feature can improve videos with a resolution lower than 1080p to 4K.
However, currently, HD support is being provided instead of 4K resolution.
This feature has to be enabled by the user themselves so that they have full control over their content.
YouTube said in a statement that it is starting to improve videos with resolutions below 1080p, and they can be transferred to HD.
According to the statement, 4K support will also be available in the near future and users will have full control over their library.
Videos that will be improved will appear in the settings menu with the label Super Resolution
