NEW YORK (Kashmir English): WhatsApp may soon introduce a new feature that will allow people who do not have a WhatsApp account to join voice and video calls.

According to the report, under the new feature, WhatsApp users will be able to create a call link and share it through other means, while the recipient will be able to join the call without creating an account by opening the link in the computer’s browser.

Through this feature, users will not need to install WhatsApp, create an account, and verify their phone number.

According to the report, WhatsApp may use a temporary session system for guest users to maintain privacy and end-to-end security in calls without permanent account information.

The host of the call is also expected to have the option to approve the addition of guests, remove a participant during an ongoing call, or end the entire session.

WhatsApp’s guest calling feature is currently in the development stage and has not even appeared in the company’s beta version. The company is expected to announce its official launch
