US-Iran talks
Technical-level peace talks between the United States and Iran are scheduled to kick off today, June 21, 2026, in the Swiss mountain resort of Bürgenstock.
This comes immediately after a chaotic 48-hour delay. The meetings were initially cancelled on Friday due to escalating Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon and logistical disruptions that forced U.S. Vice President JD Vance to temporarily postpone his travel.
