MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): At least seven people have been killed and two others injured in rain-related incidents so far across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) AJK said.
Talking with Kashmir Digital, Director SDMA and in-charge Rescue 1122 said that several houses and shops have also been damaged due to heavy rainfall in different parts of the state.
He said Rescue 1122 and other relevant agencies remain on high alert and are fully prepared to respond to any emergency arising from the ongoing monsoon spell.
