ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Meteorological Department has predicted that rains will continue across the country and has warned citizens that this spell of rain is not over yet.
The weather situation has changed completely from Lahore to Karachi, and the cold winds will continue along with clouds in different cities.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms have been predicted in different parts of the country. As a result of the rains during the last two days, the intensity of heat, humidity, and suffocation has been significantly reduced in various districts and provincial capitals, due to which the citizens have breathed a sigh of relief.
Heavy rains in Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan
Intermittent cloudbursts and heavy rains have been predicted in some places in the federal capital Islamabad today as well. The rain has brought down the temperature in the city significantly, with the temperature recorded at 22 degrees Celsius in the morning and expected to reach 27 degrees during the day.
Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 14 kilometers per hour in Islamabad, and the humidity is expected to be more than 96 percent, while this series of rains will continue for the next two to three days.
Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted thundershowers in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Partly cloudy weather in Lahore
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a bright possibility of cloudburst in Lahore today as well. After the rains of the last two days, the heat wave has broken in the city, and the maximum temperature is expected to remain up to 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature can remain up to 27 degrees Celsius.
The humidity ratio in the air in Lahore has been recorded at 88 percent, and the weather will remain partly cloudy. In addition, the winds in the city will blow at a speed of 13 kilometers per hour, which has ended the foggy situation.
Karachi weather and air quality
On the weather conditions of Karachi, the capital of Sindh, the Meteorological Department says that the weather in the city will remain partly cloudy and there is a possibility of drizzle in different parts.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is likely to be between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature has been recorded at 28.5 degrees. In the city of Quaid-e-Azam, winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour, and the humidity ratio in the air has been recorded at 78 percent. Along with this, the air quality of the city has also been declared satisfactory.
