ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced the promotion of Chief of the General Staff of the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Aamer Raza, to the rank of “Four-Star General” and his appointment as “Commander, National Strategic Command”.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated General Amir Raza on his promotion to the rank of full general and on assuming his new responsibilities. He also extended his best wishes, expressing confidence that General Amir Raza would continue to serve the nation with professionalism and dedication in his new role.
The appointment places General Amir Raza at the helm of the National Strategic Command, a key institution responsible for overseeing Pakistan’s strategic command structure.
