LAKKI MARWAT (Kashmir English): Security forces killed 8 Khawarij and seriously injured 5 others in a major operation in the Wanda Sheikhullah area of Lakki Marwat.
According to security sources, this operation was carried out based on intelligence information and was carried out with utmost military skill so that the Khawarij did not get any chance to escape.
The sources further said that in view of the concerns about the presence of possible terrorist elements in the area, the search operation is underway at full speed. The aim of this operation was not only to remove these Khawarij but also to restore peace and order in the area.
Security forces say that under the National Action Plan, operations against anti-national elements will continue until the terrorists are eliminated and the citizens are protected.
This operation was carried out especially when the security forces received intelligence information about possible attacks by Khawarij.
The forces completed the operation by controlling the entry and exit routes of the area, in which the Khawarij did not have any chance to arrest or escape.
Security sources have appealed to the public to contact the forces in case of any suspicious activity so that complete peace can be maintained in the area.
They say that continuous operations against terrorist elements will continue under the National Action Plan so that peace can be maintained across the country.
This operation shows that the security agencies are taking continuous and effective measures against terrorism in the country and are making the safety of citizens their top priority.
