CHAGHI (Kashmir English): Security forces and police foiled an attempted robbery at an MCB Bank branch in Balochistan’s Chagai district following a swift response, according to official statements.
Authorities said armed assailants attempted to target the bank, but their plans were disrupted after security personnel and police responded promptly to the incident. A security operation was immediately launched in the area, and efforts to trace those involved remain underway.
Officials described the attempted robbery as an attack on public safety and economic stability, stating that such incidents not only target financial institutions but also threaten the livelihoods of residents and businesses.
They emphasized that acts of violence and criminal activity undermine peace and development in Balochistan, adding that the protection of citizens and their hard-earned income remains a priority.
