GILGIT (Kashmir English): The Special Communication Organization (SCO) has successfully conducted a trial of 5G services in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to a statement issued by the SCO, the successful 5G trial took place on Saturday. This development is expected to create new opportunities for high-speed internet connectivity in the region.

The statement notes that the launch of 5G services will generate new prospects across various sectors in Gilgit-Baltistan, including information technology, e-commerce, online education, telemedicine, tourism, and digital entrepreneurship.
