MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah, visited Muzaffarabad and distributed relief cheques among the families of martyrs and injured individuals affected by Indian aggression.
During his visit, he offered Fateha to an affected family in the Shawai Nala area, where three people were martyred due to an Indian missile attack on the night of May 6 and 7.
As a result of the attack, the caretaker of Masjid Bilal in Shawai Nala and two of his assistants were martyred.
During his visit, Rana Sanaullah distributed checks announced by the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to support the affected families.
On the occasion, he warned that any further aggression from India would be met with a strong response, emphasizing the importance of the Kashmir issue.
The Pahalgam incident has brought international attention to the Kashmir issue, highlighting India’s atrocities and oppression against Kashmiris, he said. ” If India again commits any kind of atrocities, India will be given a strong response from before.”
Following his stay in Muzaffarabad, the former federal minister left for Neelum Valley, where he will meet the victims of Indian aggression in areas along the Line of Control (LoC).
On his way, he stopped at the site of Neelum Jhelum Hydro Project at Nowseri, where he was briefed on the damages caused to the facility by India’s unprovoked shelling.
Rana Sanaullah was accompanied by President PML-N AJK Shah Ghulam Qadir and former government minister Murtaza Gilani during his visit to the affected areas.
