ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Minister and Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Affairs, Rana Qasim Noon, along with Kashmir Committee members, on Wednesday visited Bilal Masjid affected by Indian aggression in Shawai Nala, Muzaffarabad.

The Chairman Kashmir Committee inspected the damage caused to the affected mosque and took a detailed briefing from Additional Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad Imran Abbas Naqvi about the martyrs, injured, losses, and immediate assistance.

Talking to the media on this occasion, he condemned the Indian aggression on the Shaheed Bilal Masjid, stating that nowhere in the world are places of worship attacked.

Noon added that India “scattered the flags of international laws” by attacking a place of worship in the dark of night and called the act a brutal atrocity against Kashmiris.

“We have come here to pay tribute to the martyrs,” he said, adding that Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable.

The minister said the government had immediately paid compensation to the martyrs and the injured, and announced that the Shaheed Bilal Mosque will be rebuilt very soon.

He urged the nation to pray for the martyrs and their families and pledged that reconstruction would commence without delay.
