LAHORE (Kashmir English): The preliminary schedule of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 has finally been revealed. The opening match to be held on March 26 has been proposed to be between Lahore Qalandars and the new team, Hyderabad Kingsmen.
The schedule was discussed in a meeting with representatives of all the franchises. It will be finalized after knowing everyone’s suggestions.
According to reports, the 11th edition of PSL will start on March 26 with the inclusion of 2 new teams. Practice sessions will be held from 22 to 25. Traditionally, the first match is of the defending champion team.
PSL 11 Schedule & Venues
Lahore Qalandars will face the new franchise, Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen, at the Gaddafi Stadium on March 26. The matches will be played in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board has also announced that matches will be held in Peshawar. Zalmi’s first match will be against Islamabad United under floodlights on March 28.
Qualifier One is to be held in Rawalpindi on May 2, Eliminator One will be held the next day at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Eliminator Two is to be held at the same venue on May 5, and the final will be played on May 10, although the host has not been decided yet; it will likely be held at Gaddafi Stadium.
In the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League PSL, along with Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Quetta Gladiators, new teams Pindi, Hyderabad, Houston Kingsmen, and Sialkot Stallions are also participating.
