MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister (PM) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq paid a surprise late-night visit to the Central Imam Bargah Peer Alam Shah Bukhari Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister reviewed the security situation at the Central Imam Bargah Peer Alam Shah Bukhari.
He checked the security arrangements at the entry and exit points of the Imam Bargah.
Police officials briefed the Prime Minister in detail on the security situation of the facility.
Prime Minister Haq also reviewed the security control room along with Syed Liaquat Naqvi, the custodian of the Central Imam Bargah.
The PM Azad Kashmir expressed satisfaction with the joint efforts of the custodian of the Central Imam Bargah and the police to make security foolproof.
The Prime Minister also visited Imam Bargah Peer Karam Ali Shah Bela Noor Shah and Imam Bargah Dherian Saidan.
PM reviews security arrangements at Imam Bargah
He also took a detailed review of the arrangements at both the Imam Bargahan. The PM directed the police to strictly monitor the traditional routes of Muharram processions.
He directed the police to further improve the overall law and order situation. Most Senior Minister Colonel (Retired) Waqar Ahmed Noor was also present with the Prime Minister.
Ministers Syed Bazil Naqvi, Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, and Nisar Ansar Abdali were also present with the Prime Minister.
