QUETTA (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police are continuing their joint Operation Shaban against militants in different parts of Balochistan, according to security sources.
Security sources said the operation is being carried out through coordinated air and ground actions targeting militants. During the latest phase of the operation, four more militants were reportedly killed.
According to the sources, the total number of militants killed in Operation Shaban has reached 83. They further claimed that 121 militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted since July 5.
Security sources said operations are continuing in various areas of Balochistan and will remain underway until the militant threat is eliminated.
