QUETTA (Kashmir English): Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3 continues across different areas of Balochistan on August 12, with security forces conducting intelligence-based operations in Kalat, Khuzdar and Surab, according to security sources.
In Rodenjo Cross, Kalat, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted following credible information about the presence of terrorists. Security sources said five terrorists belonging to the FAH were spotted travelling in a vehicle and were engaged by the security forces, resulting in their deaths.
In another operation in Kunaro, Khuzdar, security forces acted on information regarding the presence of terrorists. According to security sources, an exchange of fire took place during the operation, resulting in the deaths of four terrorists.
An intelligence-based operation was also conducted in Surab on credible information about the presence of terrorists. According to preliminary information, 10 terrorists were killed during the operation.
Security sources said that a total of 19 terrorists have so far been killed during the latest operations.
The hunt for remaining terrorists is continuing, with security forces maintaining operations in different areas of Balochistan, according to the sources.
