BAJAUR (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army continues decisive counter-operations against Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij under operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.
According to the security sources, the Pakistan Army carried out a vigorous operation and destroyed Afghan Taliban posts adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border in the Bajaur sector.
Pakistan Army also targeted Afghan Taliban posts on the Pak-Afghan border with guided missiles, security sources added.
While giving stern warnings to the Khawarij, security sources stated that Operation Ghazb-ul-Haq will continue until its objectives are achieved.
663 Afghan Taliban Killed in Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq
Earlier, the Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, on Friday said that 663 Afghan Taliban personnel and Fitna Al Khawarij were killed and more than 887 others were injured so far in the ongoing Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.
Sharing an update regarding the Afghan Taliban losses on X, the minister added that the armed forces had destroyed 249 border posts and captured 44 others.
Meanwhile, he said that 224 enemy tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed, while 70 terrorist support infrastructure in Afghanistan were effectively targeted through air strikes.
Terror installations targeted
The federal minister further said that the security forces successfully targeted terrorists’ affiliated installations in Afghanistan on the night of March 12 and 13.
The forces hit terrorists and their support infrastructure, including logistic bases and camps, in Kabul, Paktia, and Kandahar.
Tarar also shared the video on X, captioning that the released video clearly shows that “Pakistan precisely targeted only those installations which directly/indirectly support terrorism from inside Afghanistan and terrorist camps.”
“No civilian population or civilian infrastructures were targeted, as falsely propagated by Afghan regime officials and media,” he wrote on X.
Army destroys Delta border post
The counterattacks of the Pakistani forces against the unprovoked aggression of the Afghan Taliban regime are continuing.
According to security sources, the Pakistani army blew up the Delta post of the Afghan Taliban in the Zauba sector.
Sources said the action was taken in response to the unprovoked aggression in the border areas to prevent the advance of enemy elements and ensure national security.
Security sources have clarified that the Pakistani armed forces are taking vigorous counterattacks on every front to protect the country’s security and against unprovoked aggression. The forces have targeted the enemy’s positions with professionalism and systematic strategy.
