ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Tuesday reduced the petrol and diesel prices for September 23, a day after the price of petrol was hiked.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was lowered by Rs 1.70 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 3.12 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 23, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 392.05 per liter and diesel at Rs 418.96 per liter.
On September 21, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) hiked the petrol price to Rs 393.75 per liter and reduced the diesel price to Rs 422.08 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
