ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Monday hiked the petrol price and reduced the diesel price for September 22.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 4.61 per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was decreased by Rs 1.96 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 22, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 393.75 per liter and diesel at Rs 422.08 per liter.
On September 18, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price to Rs 389.14 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 424.04 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
