OGRA hikes petrol, diesel prices for Aug 14

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Thursday hiked the petrol and diesel prices, effective Friday, August 14, a day after the petrol price was reduced and diesel was hiked.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 0.45 per liter, and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 1.16 per liter.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for August 14, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 325.43 per liter and diesel at Rs 383.95 per liter.

Yesterday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price by Rs 324.98 per liter and hiked the diesel price by Rs 382.79 per liter.
