ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday reduced the petrol price and increased the diesel price, effective Thursday, August 13, a day after a similar revision of prices occurred.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was lowered by Rs 0.94 per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was hiked by Rs 0.54 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for August 13, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 324.98 per liter and diesel at Rs 382.79 per liter.
Yesterday, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price by Rs 325.92 per liter and hiked the diesel price by Rs 382.25 per liter.
