ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new facility for citizens, further simplifying the process of obtaining certificates related to birth, death, marriage, and divorce.

NADRA officials have informed citizens that they can now avail themselves of this service through the Pak-ID mobile app.

According to NADRA, a duplicate copy of a certificate originally issued by the relevant Union Council can now be obtained via the Pak-ID mobile app.

The initiative aims to spare citizens from unnecessary trips to NADRA offices to obtain certificates and to facilitate easier access to services.

NADRA officials clarified that if a citizen’s certificate has already been issued by the relevant Union Council and a duplicate is required, they also have the option to obtain it by directly contacting the concerned Union Council.

Officials stated that the facility to submit applications via the Pak-ID mobile app is available for all Union Councils in Sindh and Punjab, all districts of Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and selected districts of Balochistan.

Citizens are encouraged to utilize the Pak-ID mobile app facility to obtain birth, death, marriage, or divorce certificates. For further information and guidance, citizens can contact the NADRA helpline at 1777.
