MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Muzaffarabad Police has implemented a comprehensive security plan to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
As per the instructions of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muzaffarabad, Syed Riaz Haider Bukhari, the combing operations, general hold-ups, and mock exercises will be conducted in collaboration with law enforcement agencies across the district.
In addition to that, security has been tightened at all important places, installations, and entry points of the Muzaffarabad district to prevent any potential threats.
A special series of checks and inspections has been started on bridges, hotels, inns, rest houses, guest houses, and important highways using modern methods like Hotel Eye & EPP applications.
Foot and mobile patrols have been made around the clock, and senior officers are personally supervising all arrangements.
The public is appealed to cooperate with the security arrangements during the preparations and celebrations of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The law enforcers have taken several security measures, including that all entry points of the Muzaffarabad district have been closed to prevent any potential threats.
Transport and pedestrians entering and exiting the boundaries of Muzaffarabad district are being checked and inspected meticulously with the help of manual and modern security equipment, police said.
All police forces have been kept alert and vigilant at all times to respond to any potential threat.
