ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Taimoor Kiani, the young son of Zubair Kiani, a permanent resident of Muzaffarabad was shot dead in Islamabad suburbs, the police said.
Taimoor Kiani belonged to Rahim Kot Seeri village, Katkeer Union Council, Khawra East constituency, Muzaffarabad, and was currently residing in Tarlai, Islamabad.
He died after being shot by a 30-bore pistol in a room of a Tarlai house.
According to sources, this tragic incident occurred in a room where Taimoor was present with his friends.
According to initial reports, he was shot with a 30-bore pistol, but it was not until the filing of this report whether Taimoor was shot by his friends or if it was an accidental firing.
According to sources, the police have taken the body into custody and shifted it to PIMS Hospital, while all individuals present in the room at the time of the incident have been detained. Police are investigating Taimoor’s death from all aspects.
Muzaffarabad deaths
It is worth noting that a month ago, another young man was killed by a gunshot in the Khawra constituency of Muzaffarabad.
According to initial reports, young man named Basit, son of Shabbir Awan, from Kumi Kot, had died after being accidentally shot by his friends.
The deaths of young people due to firing have caused concern in the area, as illegal weapons are claiming the lives of young people every day.
