ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Ministry of Religious Affairs has sought feedback, complaints, and suggestions from all Hajj pilgrims who performed the Hajj through private tour operators last year.

According to the press release issued by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the primary objective of this step is to evaluate the performance of private companies and to take strict action against operators who violate the code of conduct in the future.

According to a press release issued by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, all pilgrims who performed Hajj under the private scheme can submit any kind of objections, complaints, or valuable suggestions to improve services against their tour operators by July 20.

The spokesperson clarified that it is mandatory for pilgrims to send their complaints in writing, signed, and accompanied by all relevant documentary evidence or proof.

No action will be taken on complaints made without evidence or outside the prescribed procedure.

Under the Hajj policy, the Ministry has already obtained a 5% performance guarantee (financial guarantee) from all private companies.

If complaints against any company are proven true, the pilgrims’ losses will be compensated from this guarantee amount.

Along with this, the final decision regarding the renewal, suspension, or cancellation of private tour operators’ licenses will now be made based on this feedback from pilgrims and the overall performance of the companies.

Hajj pilgrims can send their signed complaints and evidence by mail to the address of the Ministry of Religious Affairs or submit them online via the official email.

The Ministry has clarified that any application received after the July 20 deadline will not be admissible.
