RIYADH (Kashmir English): The Saudi General Authority for Statistics said that the total number of pilgrims doing Hajj 2026 reached 1,707,310, which shows a 2.04 percent climb from the prior year.
Saudi Arabia Says 1.7 Million Pilgrims for Hajj 2026, up 2.04 Percent. As per the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 1,546,655 pilgrims came from outside the Kingdom via several entry routes, while the local group, which covers citizens and residents, was 160,646.
The authority also added that the whole pilgrim lineup counted 893,396 men and 813,905 women, making it look almost even in gender involvement, more or less.
Looking at international arrivals, 1,485,729 pilgrims entered Saudi Arabia by air, 54,429 by land, and 6,497 by sea. Also, 388,700 pilgrims got to use the Makkah Route Initiative, which basically simplifies travel procedures from chosen countries, for the most part.
