ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Metro E-Vehicles, a progressive and modern-thinking e-vehicle company, today introduced its innovative ‘Step-Thru Electric Bike,’ providing a smart and green alternative for commuting on Pakistani streets.
The pedal-assisted e-bike comes equipped with a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame, front shock absorber, front and rear disc brakes for efficient stopping, and sturdy 27.5-inch front and rear tires for better stability.
The Metro Step-Thru Electric Bike is powered by a 350W rear-hub motor coupled with a removable 36V 10.4Ah lithium-ion battery. Furthermore, a multi-gear transmission system ensures efficient travel across various terrains.
“With our new Step-Thru Electric Bike, we aim to foster sustainable mobility solutions in Pakistan by harmonizing traditional cycling with electric pedal assistance. We believe that the combination of eco-friendliness, affordability, and convenience will greatly appeal to urban commuters,” said a Metro E-Vehicles spokesperson.

The Metro Step-Thru Electric Bike has been launched at an introductory price of PKR 169,000.
