KARACHI (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s two most popular actresses, Mehwish Hayat and Hiba Bukhari, are set to feature in a new drama serial, ‘Rutba ’, on ARY Digital soon.
Written by renowned writer Umaira Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan, this drama will have a major cast.
Along with Hiba Bukhari and Mehwish Hayat, Saif Ali Khan, Zahid Ahmed and Talha Chahour will also be seen in important roles. The drama is being produced in collaboration with Six Sigma and Next Level Entertainment.
The news of the drama was revealed by Saif Ali Khan himself, who confirmed that he would be a part of the project along with Zahid Ahmed, Talha Chahour and other co-stars.
Mehwish Hayat holds a prominent place in Pakistani showbiz thanks to her many successful dramas and films.
Apart from dramas like ‘Dil Lagi’, ‘Mere Qatil Mere Dildar’, ‘Dain’ and ‘Maratul Aaroos’, superhit films like ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ and ‘London Nahi Jaunga’ also made her a strong face of the silver screen.
On the other hand, Hiba Bukhari is also a favorite actress of the audience on the TV screen, who has given memorable performances in popular dramas like ‘Deewangi’, ‘Fitoor’, ‘Mere Hamnashin’ and ‘Jaan Nisar’.
The final date for the broadcast of ‘Rutba’ is yet to be announced, however, due to such a strong cast and renowned creative team, it is being considered one of the most anticipated dramas of the year.
