LAHORE (Kashmir English): Mehnaz Momm-ar-Rana, wife of renowned Pakistani film actor Mommar Rana, has obtained a khula decree, formally ending their marriage.
According to media reports, Mehnaz secured the decree through her lawyer, Barrister Khadija Siddiqui, after deciding not to continue the marital relationship.
During the court proceedings, Mehnaz reportedly refused reconciliation and made it clear that she had no intention of returning to her husband.
“I do not want to live with Momm-ar-Rana under any circumstances,” she reportedly stated. Following her refusal to reconcile, the court issued the khula decree, bringing an end to their marriage.
The development has attracted attention due to Momm-ar-Rana’s prominence in Pakistan’s film industry.
