GUJRAT, Pakistan (Kashmir English): A woman employee of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) was allegedly shot dead by her husband inside her office in Gujrat before committing suicide, creating panic and fear among staff and visitors.
According to local police, the incident occurred at a NADRA office where 42-year-old Amber, a resident of Mohalla Dara Balochan, was employed.
Her husband, identified as 45-year-old Bilal Saqib, had reportedly dropped her at the office in the morning on Monday when an argument broke out between the couple on the upper floor of the office.
According to police, Bilal allegedly opened fire with a pistol, killing his wife on the spot before turning the weapon on himself.

The incident left the employees and visitors terrified.
Civil Lines police shifted the bodies to hospital for post-mortem examination and launched an investigation into the tragic incident.
A case has been registered on the complaint of the couple’s son, Mansoor Bilal.
According to the FIR, the couple had been facing domestic disputes for the past eight to 10 years.
