ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Renowned journalist and anchorperson Gharida Farooqi has confirmed the death of terrorist Hafiz Gul Bahadur, citing credible sources.
In her post on X, Gharida Farooqi stated that Pakistan has achieved a major success in counter-terrorism as highly credible sources have confirmed that terrorist Hafiz Gul Bahadur was killed air strikes in Argun, Khost on the night of 17-18 Oct 2025.
Gul Bahadur Shura members also killed
Gharida Farooqi said that several members of Gul Bahadur group’s Shura were also killed in the attack by Pakistani forces, adding he was secretly buried that same night.
“Highly credible sources have confirmed that Terrorist Hafiz Gul Bahadur was eliminated in aerial strikes in Argun, Khost on the night of 17-18 Oct 2025. Several members of his Shura have also been killed. He was secretly buried the same night,” Garida wrote on X.
She said the terrorist networks posing a threat to Pakistan have suffered a decisive blow.
