RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Raja Farooq Haider Khan and President Muslim League-N AJK, Shah Ghulam Qadir separately met with President Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister AJK, Sardar Ateeq Ahmed at his residence and discussed overall political situation in the state.
According to details, former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan held an important meeting with Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan at his residence. Chairman Youth Wing Sardar Usman Ali Khan was also present at the meeting.
The current political situation in Azad Kashmir was discussed during the meeting.
Later, Shah Ghulam Qadir, President PML-N Azad Kashmir, and Secretary General Chaudhry Tariq Farooq also called on President Muslim Conference Sardar Ateeq Ahmed Khan at the Mujahid Manzil.
Meetings with Sardar Ateeq important
The meetings of the PML-N leadership with Sardar Ateeq Khan are being considered important, although details of the meetings have not been disclosed by the Muslim Conference and PML-N.
The PML-N leadership had earlier also met with Engineer Amir Muqam, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, and discussed the political situation.
It is to be noted that Muslim League (N) Azad Kashmir has announced its separation from the government, and Shah Ghulam Qadir said that their decision was firm and that they will sit in the opposition.
