MUZAFFARABAD: To express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Kashmir, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Azad Kashmir has organized a Kashmir March in the capital Muzaffarabad, in which a large number of citizens are present.
Political leadership including Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-Ur-Rehman, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-Ul-Haq are also present in the demonstration to express their solidarity with the innocent people of Indian-occupied Kashmir.
While addressing the crowd, the PM Chaudhry Anwarul Haq stated that we consider the role of Jamaat-e-Islami in the Kashmir freedom movement as historic.
He underlined that ineffective political, diplomatic, and democratic attempts will not suffice to help the people of Kashmir get their goal of freedom, and that they must take matters into their own hands and fight for it.
Citing UN Security Council decisions as support for their right to resist, Haq feels that the time has come for the brave people of Kashmir to join the struggle and fight for their liberation.
It would be intriguing to observe how the people of Kashmir respond to this declaration, which serves as a call to action for them to become more involved in their fight for freedom, PM added.
