ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The weather has taken a turn across various cities in the country; there is a 95% chance of rain in Lahore, while heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms is forecasted for Islamabad.
According to details, there is a 95% probability of rain in Lahore today, with the city experiencing intermittent sunshine and cloud cover; the current temperature in Lahore has been recorded at 30°C.
The Meteorological Department predicts a maximum temperature of 33°C and a minimum of 24°C for Lahore. Humidity levels in the city have been recorded at 71%, with winds blowing at 5 km/h. The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy throughout the day.
Meanwhile, the weather in Islamabad is also forecast to be partly cloudy, with the possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas.
A drop of 2°C in temperature has been recorded in Islamabad compared to the previous day. The temperature stood at 19°C in the morning and is expected to rise to 27°C during the day. Winds are blowing at 7 km/h, and humidity levels are expected to remain above 78%.
Rain accompanied by thunderstorms is also likely during the day in Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy in Gilgit-Baltistan, with rain anticipated in some areas.

The weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid; the intensity of the heat is likely to persist due to the suspension of sea breezes. Karachi’s current temperature has been recorded at 30°C, with a minimum of 28°C. The maximum temperature in the city is expected to range between 32°C and 34°C.
According to the Meteorological Department, humidity in Karachi was recorded at 78%, while air quality remains satisfactory.
