ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has denied reports of the suspension of the Hajj 2026 flights schedule amid the tense situation in the Middle East.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through social media stated that the news regarding the delay in the Hajj 2026 flights schedule is false and that all the arrangements for Hajj 2026 are in process as per the schedule.
A statement issued through social media stated that the public should not pay any heed to such news, as the process of issuing Hajj visas and other necessary arrangements has been initiated.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs is making sure that all the arrangements regarding the departure of the pilgrims are completed within the scheduled timeframe. The official announcement regarding the Hajj 2026 flight schedule will be made after the arrival of Eid al-Fitr.
According to the ministry spokesperson, after Eid-ul-Fitr, complete details on their Hajj flights, accommodation in Mecca and Medina, schools, and other arrangements will be provided to pilgrims so they can prepare for departure with confidence.
Pakistan’s first Hajj 2026 flight is scheduled for April 19
The second phase of Hajj 2026 training under the government scheme will start after Eid, and the first Hajj flight from Pakistan will start on April 19.
According to media reports, under a government scheme, Hajj pilgrims will be provided immigration facilities at Islamabad Airport under the Road to Mecca Project.
This year, more than 180,000 pilgrims will go to perform Hajj, while pilgrims who missed out on Hajj last year have also been included.
Hajj pilgrims, who missed out on Hajj last year, have been re-included, and private travel agents have demanded more money from some of these pilgrims.
