TEHRAN (Kashmir ENGLISH): Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf expressed his gratitude to the State of Pakistan and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their role in mediating the Lebanon ceasefire.
In a statement released on social media, the Iranian Parliament Speaker described the Lebanon ceasefire as the result of Hezbollah’s steadfastness and unity.
كما قلتُ ليلة أمس أيضاً، إن وقف إطلاق النار لم يكن إلا نتيجة لصمود حزب الله واتحاد محور المقاومة؛ وسوف نتعامل مع وقف إطلاق النار هذا بحذر، وسنبقى معًا حتى التحقق الكامل للنصر.
أشكر الجهود الوسيطة لدولة باكستان والجنرال عاصم منير لإقرار وقف إطلاق النار هذا.

The Iranian Parliament Speaker said that we will watch this ceasefire with caution and will remain together until complete success is achieved, and this progress will be carefully advanced until complete victory is achieved.
The Speaker also appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts for the ceasefire and the role of Field Marshal Asim Munir, thanking him.
He added that we are committed to our commitment and will not back down from our position.
Field Marshal Asim Munir meets Masoud Pezeshkian
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistan’s Army Chief and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir held an important meeting in Tehran.
The Iranian government has released pictures of this important meeting between Masoud Peshmerga and Field Marshal Asim Munir on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The meeting discussed in detail regional security and bilateral cooperation.
Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi were also present during the meeting.
